Giving can be great during the holiday season, but it’s shopping the post-holiday sales (for ourselves) that really feels rewarding. Forum members did just that this past week. Picking up coats, fisherman-style sweaters, houndstooth and more, they supplemented their wardrobes with the gifts they didn't already receive this season. Here are some of the standouts.

Kenysha75 picked out a gorgeous Bimba y Lola coat among the sale racks at Printemps in Paris.

Y0shi shared a picture of her new drool-worthy Alexander McQueen shoes.

Frickys indulged in some ASOS shopping, picking out their leather biker jacket with ribbed detaililng and a more delicate white lace skirt by Vero Moda.

Versace-Goddess got on a houndstooth kick with a long-sleeved peplum top and red short shorts from ASOS.

Versace-Goddess’ ASOS purchases also included a pair of red suede Aura ankle boots with a distinctly curved heel.

One of RedandNavy’s sale buys was this burnt orange Matthew Williamson V-neck dress with embellishments on the collar.

What We Bought: Holiday-Ready Dresses, Boots, and More (Forum Shopaholics) Written Updates:-

forewarned that she had “gone a bit mad,” while sharing some of her most recent purchases. She kicked off her shopping spree with a few dresses from ASOS. A grey knee-length version with lace detailing and ruching, and a pretty purple-hearted peplum dress.

Xkrissax also picked up a long-sleeved body-conscious black dress from ASOS, and a pair of houndstooth pants from Topshop.

Xkrissax rounded out her purchases by bringing some footwear into the mix with pair of velvety blue heels from Office, and black suede Kurt Geiger booties.

Cestmagique got festive with a red Burberry trench. “I needed a light coat and this one fits like a dream,” she gushed. “Plus it's red... the color I always gravitate to.”

La bordélique hit Topshop for a pair of black boots with soles reminiscent of 90s styles. “I can deal with that,” she commented.

Delightful also got in on some Burberry trench action with this classic khaki version.

Kenysha75 purchased a Jerome Dreyfuss Richard bag from the brand’s Fall 2012 collection.
