 Sikandar Jatoi sent on remand till January 16 written updates:-

KARACHI: An anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi sent Sikandar Jatoi, father of prime suspect in Shahzeb Khan murder case Shahrukh Jatoi, on physical remand till January 16, Express News reported Friday.

Sikandar was brought before the ATC in an armoured personnel carrier.

Sikandar’s counsel Manzoor Ansari informed the court that his client is diabetic and is a heart patient after which the court ruled that health facilities be provided to Sikandar.

Sikandar had appeared before the Supreme Court after acquiring a one-day protective bail from the Lahore High Court, however, he was arrested from the court’s premises yesterday.

According to reports, Shahrukh ran off to the UAE after he was nominated as the prime suspect in the FIR of Shahzeb Khan’s murder. A police team from Pakistan went to the UAE to search for him but has been unable to arrest him.

Three other suspects of the case, Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur and Murtaza Lashari, are in police custody and have been identified by eyewitnesses for being involved in the murder.
